Housekeeping

Hi my name is Katzaryna, I’ve been housekeeping in the Old Quarter Townhouse for over 9 years. I love making beds, I find making a bed oddly rewarding. Cleaning bathrooms is not my favourite thing, but it is one of the most important part of my job, not every part of a job is satisfying but I take great satisfaction in doing my job well. It’s important to me that a customer is going to enjoy that room and although they probably won’t think about all the work that went into it, it is my part of growing the business. I was promoted to Head of Housekeeping over 5 years ago, I guess they could see the potential in me. I’m responsible for scheduling staff, managing expenses, and ensuring all rooms and public areas meet a high standard of cleanliness.

Making sure the team are successful is their jobs. And making sure I meet my own job responsibilities, is part of the job.
