Hi my name is Sarah, I’ve started waiting tables in The Top House Pub and Kitchen 6 years ago. I can’t believe it! In the first 2 years I quickly came to understand how the bar and kitchen worked and my eagerness to help out and learn paid off. 4 years ago they offered me the opportunity to train as a bar manager, I graduate this year.
Assessing and restocking the bar’s supplies and coordination of the bartenders and staff are my first tasks in the mornings. These two things ensure everything flows smoothly during the bustling day ahead.
My favourite part of the job is interacting with patrons, building a rapport and ensuring their needs are met. From helping a customer choose the perfect cocktail to addressing any concerns promptly, I always strive to exceed expectations.
Without the constant support and encouragement I get from The Old Quarter Group management team I wouldn’t be where I am today.
