Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented Photographer/Videographer with social media skills to transform concepts and ideas into compelling visual representations across both print and electronic media. The ideal candidate will possess expert knowledge of Photo & Video editing, from initial concept to final deliverable. A strong understanding of the “very fast passed Hospitality industry” is essential. A knowledge of branding and marketing is necessary. We are looking for a versatile individual who can also support our design and marketing team with various tasks, including social media management, and other creative contributions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Photo/video shoots, editing, 2D motion graphics for various projects, including product demos, tutorials, and promotional videos
  • Work closely with the design and marketing team to develop video concepts and execute creative strategies.
  • Coordinating a schedule for the publishing and promotions of social media and online content.
  • Ensure that all video and photography content aligns with our brand.
  • Trend Analysis and Implementation: Stay current with design trends, integrating fresh and innovative ideas into your work.
  • Collaborative Projects: Partner with our design and marketing team to brainstorm and execute visually compelling campaigns.
  • Assist the creative team with administrative tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Own Equipment Camera with len(s), mic, gimbal, tripod.
  • Ideally someone with experience (they will be under pressure to produce usable content).
  • Fluent English is very important.
  • Stronger on the Videography side but competent with a camera.
  • Strong social media knowledge.
  • Editing software skills.
  • Knowledge of the Bar/Hospitality industry.
  • Keep abreast of what’s happening socially, politically and within the vintner’s/hospitality industry.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Flexitime: work hours (flexi) 9am-5pm days, 3pm-10pm days.
  • Weekend availability: once every two weeks Saturday night after 10pm for an hours doing ‘out and about’ photos, couple of hours filming/photographing, festival weekends, corporate parties, calendar events Halloween/Christmas.
  • Work Location: In person
